Purpose of Life

What's your purpose of life?

Study? So that you can get excellent results?

Work? So that you can have lots of money to buy anything you want?

Enjoy? So that you can forget all about your problems in life?

Is that all? Is it worth it, if these are the only purposes in your life?

How about the hereafter? Don’t you believe in that?

We said we do believe, but how about our actions?

“He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself, and mentions the name of his Lord and prays, But you prefer the worldly life,While the Hereafter is better and more enduring" [Al-A'la, 14-17]

"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me." [Adh-Dhariyat, 56]

Are these the correct and appropriate ways to gain rahmat (blessings) from Allah(our God)?

Just for a few minutes, let's rethink...

Have we ever thought about our life so far? Let’s take a look…
Why do we study? So we can achieve good results and get a good job.
Why do we want a good job? So we can work and earn lots of money.
Why do we want to earn money? So we can buy food and eat.
Why do we eat? So we can replenish our energy to work.
Why do we work? So we can earn money.
Why do we want to earn money? So we can buy food and eat.
Why do we eat? So we can replenish our energy to work.
Why do we work? So we can earn money….
And so on. Ultimately, our life becomes a cycle.
An endless cycle of ignorance.

Ultimately, we become like robots.
Every day, we repeat the same life cycle over and again.
Just like robots, doing the same routine every day all throughout their lifespan, until their power source runs out or their plug is pulled out of its socket.
What a meaningless life they live.
Is this what our life is all about?
Working to eat, eating to work, and repeating this same thing over and over again until we die.
Such a meaningless death.
In order to break out of this cycle, in order to become humans once again, we need to know our true purpose in life.
Only then can we move on forward InsyaAllah.

As for the non-believers, have you ever thought that Islam is the concrete truth?

Are you still in the state of deniable, and keep questioning about it even though you already knew the truth?

You have everything in this world, but nothing in hereafter....

Soon enough, you will discover the truth....

"And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." [Al-Baqarah 2:30]
